As it is a TZ motor it doesn't have a kickstart but I have managed to get a clutch cover that's designed to accept one. Once I have it fitted I'll be giving it a go. It has been to Daves place for pipes and a dyno setup so hopefully I won't have any running issues.

Nice bike
For a kick start you'd also need the crank cases to have the hole for the shaft to sit in, TZ crank cases might have it, I don't know, but I wouldn't have thought they would.
Looks like a TZ bottom end with LC top end.

Looks like a TZ bottom end with LC top end. TZ crankcases are essentially the same as early RD aircooled cases, they have the same castings with a few extra machinings. You are correct, it is a TZ bottom end, the top end is also TZ. OEB

Is it a TZ700 or 750 top end, I didn't think TZ 250s and 350s had reed valves

love it bud it looks mint what size carbs are you running 38's? im building exactly the same motor (eventually ive also got steel liners ive thought about cutting kickstart carrier bit out of a old casing boring a hole in cover and welding kickstart carrier in place

Good luck altering your primary cover to fit the kickstart, probably more cost effective to sell the original & buying an aftermarket cover from Fondseca. OEB

I only know of 2.96 ratio for the 350 and 3.348 for the 250 engine, i was just wondering if there were any other ratios out there?

Totally agree with that last remark, except for Tims bike. Plus no piece of wood under the side stand.
