The choke circuit when off will still be open to the pulses from the carb will act upon fuel residue left in the pipe
Have you removed the main jet and emulsion tube to check for blockages/debris

Main no blockage. Just checked. Emulsion no blockage. Hope the reducing the heigt of auxillary will do the trick by reducing pressure of the petrol. Come to think of it. With auxillary tank and vaccuum connection blocked petrol keeps comming. That might explain overflowing when the engine is not running So lot of petrol passed before engine is started. Used an auxillary tank, same method for years on TZR's and TDR's. Is there a difference on carbs that can explain ? Food for thought. Will continue during weekend

Hi Eric when dyno testing my bikes the auxiliary tank is roughly a meter above the bike. There is never a problem with the float valves.

The choke circuit when off will still be open to the pulses from the carb will act upon fuel residue left in the pipe Have you removed the main jet and emulsion tube to check for blockages/debris Steve From looking at carbs over the years, the choke plunger blocks the right transfer passage, I agree that there will be a small residue when choke turned off, but that will clear out, through the pulse you say in a couple of seconds on right carb, 1 sure way to find out would be to individually block off the link pipes nipples, if the bike then runs well on right side but left still boggy then its the choke, problems like this can only be solved through a process of elimination, this bike is ticking over long enough to clear that pipe IMO, anything is worth a look at. There seems to be no effect when choke is turned on, which is why I suspect the choke.

Could not resist good weather and working from home. First kick and bike was running. -> Can confirm there is only petrol with airbubles running in the balancing pipe with an open choke. After 20 seconds could close choke. Still running little lumpy but running. Gave it 5 minutes to warm a little. Gas response got better but still not as crispy as my TZR250. Maybe that is just RD but think it can get better. When I close petrol line just before shooting into high revs it gets and sounds more crispy. Will start doing extra check on float level, needle height, ... If possible will try short test on the street. Have no papers yet as it is German import. Have to be able to ride it to RDW for paperwork. To be continued PS Not familiar with RD350 I probably hear more noises and sometimes have incorrect conclusion. Today with cold and hot engine could not hear squeeky noise from left cilinder
