Hi , had some billet sprocket carriers made last year as the standard one on my hybrid cracked on the bolt holes , they were a really good up grade so I thought I would try and get some more done , just trying to gauge interest in how many to do , they will be around £300 each but in my opinion worth it compared to what it cost me when my chain wrapped round my back wheel. Pictures and new price added to post.
I still have one of the original ones Chris had made the first time, if you want to use it for a template/measurement Andy just let me know, could make it a bit easier
I have an original mate, I was looking at it today thinking shit that looks weak and I'll make one myself.
Andy, one made by you would be great. 'XXX Strong' too possibly?
I just didnt see 300 quid in that part so if you can do one for much more sensible money (100-150 etc) then I would be game as I could do with two and i know others with RGV conversions here who would want some too.
I assume if made in the UK and sold by a big enough business then it would be tax free for anyone outside the UK, that would certainly help offset the post cost and import duties on receipt etc.
Up date on sprocket carries , after some useful input from Andy (spondon440) have managed to get it down in price to below what the 1st batch came out at , if I can get a decent order will be more around £245 , so that’s where it’s at , sorry if it’s still to much for some , hopefully Going to get a couple of pictures posted , think that’s about it.
