This is what you can create when you buy a RD350 YPVS from a well known self proclamed "Two Stroke Specialist" in the Netherlands . I bought my third RD in march of this year (sold the other two in 2016/2017). I wanted a well maintained one and the "Specialist" told me he had never seen one in such a good condition lately.... I believed him and bought the bike......realizing that possibly a FEW things might need some attention..... I'm not really complaining of course. Part of the fun is fiddling with spanners and the bike rides like a dream nowadays but this all is really not what I expected to find . Underway right now are a rear shock belt and oil pipes. Unless the 3 way splitter is in some way broken, I agree with Tony. I’ve had to modify either the throttle end or carb ends with new cables for hybrids/big carbs. By the way your rear disk is on back to front . Jon

Jon Well, this is how I received the throttle cable from "ClassicRacing.nl" in the Netherlands : Ontvangen gaskabel by alber rijkes, on Flickr Both the throttle end and the threeway split were broken.... It was resolved in a pleasent way b.t.w. and they do have a lot of RD350 YPVS parts..... . I "repaired" it with rescue tape (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOF2II-6moc ) but I am reluctant to use it anyway. Same goes for the rear brake pump assembly. I ultra sonic cleaned it and it seems to operate in a smooth way but I don't dare to use it. The rear disk is on back to front due to artistic freedom . BTW did you notice the Upside Down rear shock?

I wouldn't notice an upside down rear shock as I fitted the shock to my bike upside down.
