Hi
should the black plastic headlight holder (mk2/3 type)have any kind of waterproof gromment/cover or do the loom/switch blocks just poke in and connect up behind headlight,i assume the switch and ignition wires feed in top hole/loom through bottom hole??
cheers

my tuppence worth will make you cringe even more if your worried about grommets, ive always found it a nightmare to squeeze all the loom in to the back of the headlight so ive had to "enlarge" the holes in the rear of the headlamp to squeeze the loom in.
its a tricky job on a 125lc and can often cause the beam to be poining in a incorrect direction if your not carfull

Hi Guys,
I case there is some confusion here there is a sealing grommet on the back of the headlight where it connects to the loom. I don't believe there is any sealing where the wire harnesses enter the headlamp "bowl". I don't remember ever seeing one on either of my 125's but will take a look at the fiche later (disclaimer ;D).

that was my point Andrew thanks for clarifying that- i know the headlight itself has a rubber gromment it was the bowl that is open/exposed seems a poor way of doing it??
Gaz i have looked at the loom layout post ta it just didnt show what i was asking above,i have it laid out ready to all connect, and it made sense loom came in under, ignition etc down thro top just didnt think it all just hanging in there with open ends was a very good way of doing it,no wonder the looms are always a mess in there?
thanks for replies peeps,all helpful
