Correct
Make up a small loom with bullet connectors with one wire looping between them then off to a ring terminal to go onto a frame bolt to ground them out and stop any damage to the windings

Ok hopefully ive got the PV servo wired up and the coils so next question, is this plug used? Goes to the cdi normally. Think I just need the switched live and the kill switch to figure out. Where's the best spot for the switched live (brown) ? The bikes a 31k btw Cheers

Also I assume the 2 plugs to the redundant PV controller are now useless, could I connect the iggy switched live straight to the brown on this plug ?

Your welcome š
I'm going to fit mine where the pv controller fits I think as the power and servo plug are there, the stator wires are close as well
I'll run all the spare wires all taped up towards the tail and heat shrink the end

I've run the servo wires straight to the servo unit, that will be ok, I assume? Ignore the reg plug, got a new one to fit š

Electrically that is better as there is one less set of connection
I'm just OCD and don't like spare unused connections left š¤£

Isn't the kill switch wired differently to normal on the Iggy?, thought it had to be 12V in to the selected input?? (rather than down to ground) interested as just doing mine

Cheers Steve Hope you can help me further Reading back some are the same colours, some not as far as i can see for instance coming from the stator ( 31k )there is a curved top 4 pin plug with 3 white wires & 1 black wire ? also coming up there is the 3 wire plug ( connect all 3 up & ground as not req ) Correct ? there is a single black fly lead with a bullet connector ? then a 2 pin plug red / white green / white ?

Cheers Steve Hope you can help me further Reading back some are the same colours, some not as far as i can see for instance coming from the stator ( 31k )there is a curved top 4 pin plug with 3 white wires & 1 black wire ? The 3 white are the generator wires. These plug into the bike loom, not the Iggy. The black as you call it should actually be a blue. It's the neutral switch also coming up there is the 3 wire plug ( connect all 3 up & ground as not req ) Correct ? Yes, they are the hi and lo speed windings there is a single black fly lead with a bullet connector ? Yes, that's the engine earth wire. It also connects to the loom then a 2 pin plug red / white green / white ? They are the pick up wires Hope that helps Steve
