This may be a problem or may not be,, so planing on putting rental bars on my hybrid,, with some yokes from Andy when I eventually get around to sorting them my question is tho, power valve engine 31k,, will the cables reach in standard lengths,, clutch throttle ect useing standard 4l0 switch gear throttle,, or maybe 2008 r1 converted not decided as yet but and yes I know 2008 r1 is fly by wire throttle so anyhow for now let's say standard 4l0 switchgear ect,, do I have to take an inch or so off the end of the bars or,, anyone done this modd here renthal 7/8 or twinwall bars cheats antπ

Rental bars? Wouldn't you be better buying them? π Never fitted them myself but seeing as LC came with bars I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem... unless they are exceptionally wide / high?

Well bought them already flames mate but not sorted my yokes from Andy as yet was just one of those thinking ahead questions mate to see if I had to factor in longer cables into the build list is all mate if that makes better sense lol,, there a motocross bar so think just a bit wider maybe than standard lc ,, but I'm a dab hand with the air saw lol

Think I used a 51L or 1ar ypvs clutch cable and a 29l ypvs throttle cable

That was without cutting the bars and running a billet manifold
The LC cables were too short

Most of us fitting these bars to a 4L0 cut an inch of each side to decrease the width.

Yea, I cut an inch off each end of a Renthal low rise bar too. They were like something out of "Queezy Rider" otherwise Imo, the bars look better if a bit more compact, but each to their own. Low rise Renthals - 758's, seem the best fit for looks and getting everything to work "length wise", not too far, if any, from a standard Lc2 set up I would think. Dusty
