Asking more questions of you....anyone have any idea of the pipes on my bike? Not too loud (well not from riding position) but unsure from behind at high revs. The hanger welds have been got at. There are no markings whatsoever around the expansion or cans....

Think nikkon silencers were like a pressed shape at the rear
As in not an end plate but a single piece of metal formed to the shape

Thanks all. 2 bolt fixing for the cans and no rivets at the outlet and the outlet stub is welded to a flat plate as per the picture posted by Midlifecrisis (excuse me if i addressed you incorrectly). I had Swarbricks on my '87 F2 back in the 90's which came from Pete Lindermere - is he still in the game?

I used to know him ages ago, he got out of the bike biz and i think is now in the music biz, but not sure. He had a very highly tuned X7 and also did some tuning work for Jay and Hag when they had their LC's. Mouse

That's right...he had an X7 that ran a 12 second quarter mile (allegedly). It was his test bed for his services....

Yep, they look identical construction to what is on mine. Would i expect my bike has been jetted or have any power increase over standard?

Nikons on my lc in the early nineties Made i big difference in power they also melted a lot of pistons even two at a time but that was before dyno’s and the internet. But these on my gamma just made it sound great
