F2 Mystery black box

Hi All
On the ypvs F2 loom at the rear end were the Reg/Rec sits coming out of the there is another set of wires with a plug.its a white plug with 4 wires & a single brown bullet wire
What is that black box

Never done an f2 but only thing different I can think of is side stand control unit

didnt know there was a separate side stand control unit apart from the actual switch..its mind boggling
couldnt find anything on google or in the haynes book..iv been collecting parts for this for a while now and i have never seen one of these control units for sale anywhere
