I am continuously staggered at the sheer level of stupidly of journalists generally. Whilst you might expect this with the Neanderthals employed on the tabloids, you would hope the BBC could attract someone with at least a minimum of intellectual

I often state the obvious , but I think the world his wife and their dog knew that was going to be the headline (local lockdowns will surely come) mart

The press as a whole and the BBC really have shown themselves as complete t**ts during all this covid stuff.

What really got me with the stupidity of these journalists was during the daily update
They get one chance each day to ask one question
First journalist - do you agree you started lockdown too late...
Second journalist- if you had started lockdown earlier...
Third journalist - did you time lockdown right, lives could have been saved...
Fast forward a couple of months
First journalist - why do we have to stay 2m apart, when can we go on holiday
Second - why can't we fly...
Third - when can we go on holiday...
The same daft fecker that were complaining that the government didn't do enough to stop the spread are now complaining they are doing too much
Anything to cause a stir 🙄

I slapped my open palm to my forehead WTF ,your one chance to ask a sensible question and that's it ,like a medal will solve all their problems with PPE etc .I gave up watching the briefings shortly after that

I used to work with an old guy who’s response to situations like this was “ what we need is another flood”
I think he might have just been ahead of the times there.
I truly believe that natural selection will sort out some of this.

One thing I wonder now is why they have stopped the daily covid update
Is thus just to fool people into thinking it's ok now
People are still dying and near a thousand people they know of are catching it each day and all people care about is how long till they get on a plane and the horror of having to quarantine after it 🙄

Cancelled my holiday no way I’m mixing with any idiots if I can help it. As it is I normally rent a villa for my family so we don’t have contact with people but it still means I have to travel with them. So we are still isolating as far as possible whilst these fools think they are immune and consequently anyone they come into contact with is also immune. So glad I’m no longer dibble as I’d have no sympathy for these prats.

My fave ever was a weatherman in northern USA stating 'we had 24 inches of snow today. That's about 2 feet.' No you f**king idiot that's exactly 2 feet.
Anyone here read the Darwin Awards? It's frankly scary and hilarious all at the same time.

Coronavirus? What's that? After 100 days of lockdown one bell end was "shouting" on the radio that the Gov need to get the message to the Leicester populous because of the language "barrier"
I've only just recovered from the laughing fit that his remark induced....
The Darwin awards are the new comedy... seeing as anything remotely funny is now culled by the PC axe....

Let the dumb f**ks who want to party, drink, holiday etc just do it. It will remove the idiots from the herd and hopefully leave normal common sense humans to live out the rest of our lives....
On another vain though , I also think that MAJOR over reaction to Covid is also stupid, I'm a self employed fencer, sub contracted to a contractor working for Portsmouth city council. We were told to finish work on the 18th March and yet still not back to work... I work OUTSIDE, don't meet anyone except my labourer (he's Covid free too), I could list so many other reasons why I should be working but well......lets just say I'm really f**ked off to be still at home....

Maybe i'm missing something but why is there such rush to pay 3 times the supermarket price for a beer in a plastic cup. You can get together with your friends/family and billy no mates & his dog who sit in the corner elsewhere and have a laugh without all sitting next/on top of each other. What's that all about then 🤷♂️

The pubs as we once knew them have long gone anyway. I feel for landlords and think people taking on a pub now are extremely brave! So as said above may as well invite people round👍

On another vain though , I... Problem is they infect all the sensible people that are trying to do the right thing. How many times have you been in a supermarket and some knob pushes past, “can I just nip in the mate? “ no Feckin wait 😩
