I will be undertaking a full engine rebuild soon and I have read here
that people are using gasket sealer, is anybody using actual gaskets?
I have a full set of gaskets ready for the build but I'm wondering
if there is a preferred alternative...

I believe 1194 three bond is the product used

There is no gasket between the 2 crankcase halves. That's where to use a bit of goo.

yes, i just checked the Vesrah gasket set and there isnt a crankcase gasket.
is three bond the one or is there others to look out for?

3Bond is virtually the same stuff as Yamabond, and perfect for what you want. Dusty  |
