Does anyone know why the left throttle slide at the top has two rectangular cutouts? The right throttle slidedoesn't have this.

What do you mean by gas slider? The left hand carb houses the choke which the R/H side doesn't have?

the choke slide has the cut outs to allow the air circuit for the choke to work, if you look at the choke carb body you will also see a corresponding hole in the casting which lines up with the cut outs when the slide is fully closed, this allows the extra air required for the choke to work through. if you look at the RHS carb body you will see the casting mark for the hole, but its not been machined

I have one more question for the specialists. The air that passes outside the needle jet, it comes through the float room and the venting of the float room, or am I mistaken?
I've also seen in the dealer's technical information the size of an air nozzle, but I can't find an air washer anywhere, is it hidden behind a pressed bullet?

For your information, there are a few Dutch speakers on here so if you get stuck with trying to explain yourself you might also be able at times een beetje nederlands praten. The Boysen Dual Stage Reeds are not generally well thought of, the reason being that there is no real proof the larger 'door' ever opens. That means you are now using only the smaller opening and therefore a inlet tract, this is great for low down torque but not for top end power. Is this is the problem you are feeling is an issue with your jetting?

Hello jonw. At low speeds, the adjustment is far too rich. High revs are going very well. After a lot of searching I found out that for low speeds a needle jet with 2x4 holes is needed, and for a little throttle and 6500 rpm on the highway (120 km/h) a needle jet with 2x2 holes is needed. I'm looking for a solution with a small electrical valve that would shut off the air to the outside of the needle jet between 6000 and 7000. That way I would get a richer mixture at the beginning of the powerband with a small Throttle slide opening. With more throttle slide opening there are no problems. Concerned the boyessen reeds, I use a carbon above reed and a glass fiber under reed. According to the performance of the motorcycle, I think they're both opening up. If anyone has another solution: all info is welcome.
