What I meant was the kit he does for the standard mono shock , he will sell that for you to weld on if you want

I do like the bigger tank but alas my build will be YPVS motor,KR1S wheels and a standard tank ! Pretty certain now I will have RGV250 forks and the RGV "P" non banana swingarm but will need the NK treatment to get the shock mount bracket welded on. He can sell the kit to weld on yourself but that would mean finding a competent welder locally the kit kimber sells is a bolt on kit,not weld on,you lose your centre stand,as these 2 mounts are used with the kit, theres another way of doing it with the ypvs front linkage + shock +rgv dogbones,u could of course have brackets welded on the lower frame and retain the centre stand if your keen on using the rgv linkage Er, no... for the LC the kit is weld on (to the swinger), its the YPVS thats bolt on (to the frame). You keep the c/stand mounts on the LC, they are made of cheese anyway and you wouldnt want to hang a shock anywhere near them.

Tripping over bits , the Missus is getting suspicious LOL
Mulling over what front and back end I will go ?
Was going RGV front forks and RGV P arm with KR1S wheels but maybe RGV forks with KR1S swingarm and KR1S wheels
or just KR1S forks/swingarm/wheels ?

Marsbar colours with gold wheels is appealing this year !
Still biggies to get like exhausts, get the bracket welded on swingarm, paintwork but have engine parts which is good in these times

If the pics are on the phone, just use Tapatalk, even I managed that with relative ease. Thought you'd got this bike nearly finished.

Looks like you got flickr sorted now, Yes must have been the Yellow bike I was thinking of, will wait for some pics of the new project now. Tapatalk is just an app to download to the phone, then you can add selected pics from your 'gallery' to your thread. Think you need to add the 'RDLC crazy' site to tapatalk from memory.

I'm liking this alot at the moment but maybe RGV250 forks and kr1s wheels for my build as that is what a have ! My very first LC had marsbar colours but back then I didn't care too much about it as I got it painted white with red speed blocks in no time

Not used these exact panels but do have Tyga RGV panels on my 421, ie the front mudguard and the hugger. Both are fine panels but quite thin, more race glass than thick road versions. They are super light and the shapes seem well produced. From that I would expect these to be a good fit and work well and be very light. Neither these or the tail would be in the way of stone chips so I would think would survive well, i was a bit concerned the front guard i had would get hammered from stones from below and the resin/lacquer would 'chip'. If you were worried about the thickness (of the side panels really) and worried they would crack in handling you could back them with a sheet of GRP easily enough. All that said, I'll reitterate... Ive not bought these, just other Tyga bodywork.

Agreed Jon, I knew Id read that somewhere ages back. Its the Taiwan Mitakas that I would not use, as I said the Japanese ones are fine. Im sure i posted pics of the Taiwan version and people were horrified. I usually try to buy TKR as they are always Japanese. For me yambits was the cheapest with postage, but the world is changing fast and others may be cheaper now.
