Prefer looks of u/s/d forks. Don't really have a preference of the 2 swinger's, so opted for the smaller looking.

It is a well known french racer, Tz barrels can't remember if they were 700 or 750 with tz forks and brakes and Marchesini 5 spoke magnesium wheels i do have an article on it somewhere, it was an inspiration for my build as well as the 7UP bike. Lovely looking and different.

Norbo does the bikini fairings with fitting kit. There was a thread earlier about the fitting bracket. They are massively out of kilter martin and you'll need to adapt it and i don't mean a little tweak.

So there are no brackets that actually fit then ? How do they bolt on ? is it on standard yokes/headlight brackets ?
If so fitting RGV yokes and aftermarket headlight brackets will be no good at all ?

The bracket that is supplied is bolted to the top yoke via the pinch bolts, but the bracket itself doesn't then line up with how you are supposed to fit the fairing, and the lower part that fits over the horns/bracket is also too deep so needs cutting back its doable just a pain its not plug and play.

You'd almost be as well fitting it to rgv front end as you'll need to fabricate a new bracket

Your "better late than never" build took 3 years
At 51 I'm concerned I haven't enough years left in me go a "May never happen" build
๐๐๐
Bottom one for me

Yes Nigel sent me the instructions the problem is it doesnโt line up anymore. Said this recently I think with the passage of time the pattern has worn or people have gone itโs near enough. Itโs pretty largely out of kilter today. Now it could be that I have 31k yokes they are different (they arenโt) but that could be a reason.

I could be wrong but I think someone supplies all the same sellers, Iโm not so sure that there are several producers of these and it seems irrespective of where you buy them from the fairing has the same issues.

Still leaning towards the Pro Am kit bike for the build , but then was thinking if I have the fairing then could I just fit different clocks or a single version that has the lot built in ?
I have some Brazilian cases which don't have the mechanical tacho drive "machined" in , so use these with an electronic tacho ?

Found something but it is in French !
www.yamaha-community.fr/rd375lc-1980
I can translate the whole thing for you if you want, but to cut it short, it has a OW31 750 top end, Campagnolo wheels, a specially made tank for extra capacity, and a very respectable racing heritage.

I do like the bigger tank but alas my build will be YPVS motor,KR1S wheels and a standard tank !
Pretty certain now I will have RGV250 forks and the RGV "P" non banana swingarm but will need the NK treatment to get the shock mount bracket welded on. He can sell the kit to weld on yourself but that would mean finding a competent welder locally
