I am riding my spare engine at the mo. So i splitted the original engine. The usual suspects like big end and mains seals are end of lifetime. The shift forks are toast. That is probably influenced by the shift drum retainer. Here some pics.

Previous owner tried to gain some more tension on the spring? Who knows?

Retainer of gear axle bearing is broken. Too much torque on a non standard bolt. I think to replace these jis screw heads by hex.

At 67K you've gotten your $$ worth. Question now is: You willing to replace damn near most the engine & trans parts? In full(?) knowledge that a rebuild will Not live even close to as long as the factory engine unit managed.

Well i use what i have got in spares. And measure it if it’s usable. New wiseco cranck. Costs me 100€ 2nd hand. Clean shift forks. Got them for free. Transmission Bearings look great. I cant imagine i drive another 30kkm in my life. And remember this will be my spare engine.
