Stock carbs Empty airbox with stock filter Almost stock barrels Casing matched to barrels GR evo2 exhausts Vforce4 reeds Ignitec The graph shows before with blue line and after with green line. Rwhp from 66,9 to 68,3 @ 9078rpm Nm from 52,9 to 53,9 @ 8750rpm Only some tweeks at ignition timing nescesary. Jets ok pv’s ok. Happy with the result. The exhausts are for road use. More mid range orientated. I love a long crank life. Bike is 95%used on the road. 5%zandvoort.

Near enough 70 rwhp is damn good, the "almost stock barrels" piqued my interest I'd love to know just what almost stock is ?
I have a good F2 with Micron chambers, Zeeltronic ignition and carbs have one size bigger mains (can't remember), it feels surprisingly quick but I have no idea what hp it is putting out, I am considering either porting and plus 1.5mm on spare cylinders or that plus long stroke crankshaft, is it worth it if there's 70 rwhp possible with little work or expense ?
Cheers Ozzy

Wel my approach was that i want to have a long crank life. I bum dynoed my jetting to my setup with midrange pipes. Then i visit a 2 stroke specialist with a dyno. Good luck👍 O I forgot to mention i matched the exhaust outlet to the flange of the pipe 40mm in my case

Cant give you pic of barrels. Because trouble with tapatalk Exhaust to 1ua spec inlet flowed. Cleaned all burrs. Squish 1mm. Thats it. If you want more then 70hp you have to go higher than 10krpm. Or go big bore and longer stroke. Longer stroke on stock cyl? Does not make sense to me.

Thanks for the info Marcel,
I am at the contemplation stage with my YPVS at the moment, the long stroke option would only be done with porting work by a professional to suit the long stroke, I also want a reliable bike so I am not aiming for a high revving engine putting out lots of power, 70 hp would be about the aim 75 hp would be perfect (what my TZ350 G had), What you have done to your bike is pretty much how I would like mine to be,
Got a 550 four Honda and NS400R projects on at the moment but they are nearing completion and the "valve" is next
Cheers

Tapatalk troubles over at the mo. I found a pic Barrels connected to the head. Good for matching the pv‘s to the exhaust ports. And cut the fiber bottom gaskets to match the barrels.
