I don't think we are using that many different types of needles for the PWK 28 carbs
So could we make a list of what we use and position of clip if possible

In Kees's tuned 4LO 350 with 28 mm PWK's i am using the N68, JJH left a big stutter. I was planning on buying two sets of Polini needles one set contains a complete range of needles for one carb. I have seen these being used on the dyno bank when setting bikes up. No issues.
I haven't bothered as the bike runs well and i haven't had the time to even think about fine adjustments.

N99 needle is for slide 4.0
JJH and N68 are 3.5

I'm on JJH with mine with airbox
I used n68 with foam filters on the blue hybrid as that's what I was told when using airbox or pods

JJH 130 mains 40 pilots Stock airbox ZERO missfires, stumble, hiccups or anything else.
Zeel set to open PVs early and fully.
Can't Imagine it running 'better'.
And it burns a bit rich.. intentionally.

Middle, although I've experimented some and found it made Small difference.
That's the intrinsic advantage of Genuine Keihins...even Close Enough gives Better results than spot on with Mikuni.
Buy old or fake PWKs and IMO none of this applies.
