Morning all I’m currently running 28mm pwk carbs on a production tuned 250lc with carbon reeds and Jim lomas 1980s pipes back in 1985 we used mikuni 34mm pj carbs I’ve got some larger inlet blocks with larger carb rubbers ready to go but not sure which carbs to buy any advice welcome Tia 😀

if your flat out all the time on a race track they will give more power . if your on the road id stay with the 28's as they are far better all round and as mush extra bottom end as top . The big carbs would be very damp at low revs and only come in to play in the band .

As above: Stick to the PWKS . There's Much more to a carb's performance than mere throat size.

Pretty sure Pwk 28's are good up to mid 70's bhp. Maybe a programmable ignition would get you some gains ? Dusty
