On a much lighter note-
Back in the day (1980) I used to wear a blue nylon Belstaff jacket whilst riding my Suzuki TS 185 ERN (also blue). The back of this jacket over time changed from blue to black which usually stank up the rooms where said jacket was deposited. My mates were never in to oil burners(Honda XL 185,Dream 250,Yam SR 250) so used to get a hard time!
I wore the blue Belstaff as a badge of honour and then moved on to a Belstaff waxed cotton jacket which eventually used to reflect light on the odd day in Edinburgh when sun shone!
I am now running in a TDR 250 and compared to the RD 350 F2 is producing a lot more blue smoke and oil deposits! My 12 year old Hein Gericke jacket is going to be ruined!!
Should I have a jacket for two stroke and another for the 4 stroke (Trident 900). Rock and a hard place!

I think you should have two jackets a period 2stroke jacket and a diesel jacket but in this time of health and safety that might be difficult
