That's strange, they don't show but if you right click on them you can open them in another window
If the links work on email/WhatsApp/Facebook it can only be a proboards thing

lol @ OEB I dont know how it could be misconfigured, its a folder of photos ... and your photo also doesnt show? Thanks to the rest of the posters, but yeah I think its a proboards issue. Annoying as i guess I have no way of posting pics now

You can connect to it with HTTP, but not HTTPS, as it does not have a valid security certificate. Browsers are moving to HTTPS connections more & more, so before long you won't be able to serve any pages using the old, insecure, HTTP protocol, at least to a modern browser. The web hosting company needs to obtain a valid SSL certificate. It isn't necessarily free. EG www.cloudflare.com/learning/ssl/why-is-http-not-secure/

Thanks mate, thats great info. Sadly I doubt ipage (who host it) will do anything that I want so maybe its time that I retire my websites when the current terms are up in October. I could move them to someone else I guess but the costs have spiralled recently. Sigh... anyone who has access to some cheap-but-good hosting feel free to PM me lol

Thanks for that. I really appreciate it. I checked and it seems I have already got that on my sites and its set to 'ENABLED'. hmm... I checked their help pages and found this: www.ipage.com/help/article/enable-your-free-sslI followed it on and created a 301 redirect in . htaccess so it should now work Im hoping... we'll see I guess? Its still showing as 'not secure' on my Chrome browser, so maybe I created it wrong? Does this look right? RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^2smoked.com [NC] RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80 RewriteRule ^(.*)$ www.2smoked.com/$1 [R=301,L] get this when i click on a number of my pages as well now. Reckon Im making it worse :/ Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Sorry, I've no idea about web server setup. I've done lots with SSL certificates, but not for websites.
Firefox on Linux suggests you have a certificate, but it's passed its use by date, so it shows as expired. Do you have an option to refresh it with a new one?

Yep I saw... sigh... maybe i'll have to just get a flikr or something account and will let the websites die. I dont the band width to keep on top of this stuff really, way more interesting to build bikes than fix IT problems lol

Foxed my Avatar by uploading it locally here.
Put some code in an .htaccess file on the site to try and convert HTTP to HTTPS but still not working :/ In fact I made the whole site dead at one point so Ive deleted all my efforts with the .htaccess file even the ones I did with the ipage on line editor.
Ive decided to disable the free certificate and give it a day or two and then enable it again and see if that helps. I read online that a simple disable, wait a minute or two and reenable isnt the way with ipage and I'd already tried that.
The main thing is that people can read the site now i think, even if i cant use the pics i upload.

Seems its a proboards thing, probbaly cos they dont allow a non https link or something I would think, but thats just a guess as Im no expert. They work on the RDRZ500 forum etc.
Ive killed off the old certificate and after a few days enabled the certifcation again so it should be a new one. but its not worked.
I think I will not be able to make my pics work on here again at this point. sorry guys.
The wesbite works tho if you want to look at builds on there, i just cant link pics.
