What caused that fork leg to fail like that there I wonder? If it were below the clamp & after an accident, I could understand that.

Well it turns out that the lad had taken it to a MOT centre that does more cars than bikes, they obviously failed it but he had only taken it for a MOT as it had ran out days before he ran into a car and when he was looking for his documents for his insurance he thought he best get it done LOL. Its beyond be how the left leg has snapped between the top & bottom yokes but I gave him the bad news today that he now neeeds a frame as the seat in the steering head that the bearing sits has smashed out of the frame making it scrap.
If i get the job to swap frame i`ll post more pictures.

hack the top 6 inches off each leg and bolt them back on with 6 inch higher handlebars? |
