Fantastic bikes, had a number of GS's over the years starting with a manderine 1150 when they first came out ('99ish) right up to LC's, all gone now though, I never had an Adventure model despite promising myself one. Have Fun, I imagine you are a member but just in case: www.ukgser.com/forums/

Had 2 GSAs, 40 odd thousand miles in a couple of years, great for touring, mile munching and unbelievable off road machines (but not in my hands). Had to down size as I developed neck and shoulder issues from all the miles and was the weight for slow speed manoeuvring wasn’t helping the ailment. Would love to have another but I’m not getter any younger or fitter! Now got Tiger 800 as the day to day bike (soon to be a Tiger 900).

Russ if you go on ukgser I think you’ll be surprised, i was a member when it first started and was for quite a few years and it gradually got taken over by bell ends and key board warriors. It is nothing and I mean nothing like this forum and I can’t imagine it’s changed.

I agree with Russ to an extent but there is a helluva lot of useful information once you have ignored the dross, opinionated people and in fighting. You have to pay a small sub to enter the For Sale section but I bought/sold very well from it. Steve

It came with these also, just need a few hours to get all the stickers off as not my thing, has almost every extra too, just missing the sos button. It’s got a few added touratech bits on it and an upgraded horn. Shame it’s rough out but it gives me time to sort these boxes and I’ll nip and buy some new clobber ready for touring.

Only way I could get on one of them is via a stepladder... panniers look big enough to store a fold up pair of steps...hmmm... Enjoy it russpuss!

What stickers? Might give them a bit of a polish before I throw them back on the bike. Depends if I can find the polish in the man cave.

The main reason I bought this bike is to make some memories, lost my mum out of the blue a few weeks ago. So was going to have something made for the new bike to remember Mum by, then my mrs found this instead. Mum's initials, my birth date and you can guess the rest.
