Saw a video yesterday of the guy retrieving what was left of his v4 ss, went in for warranty paint repairs, and all thats left is the frame and engine, wheels, forks bodywork all taken to be used on other bikes ....must be heart breaking for the guy. Garner on the news earlier being chased by a reporter asking lots of questions, and just being blanked.

Makes me sick to my stomach reading those newspaper stories.
I felt sad enough at the demise of a great British marque but it is terrible what has happened to all those customers who have lost their deposits and worse for the poor souls who have lost everything in their pension investments.
Like Philip Green and that other bast@rd Maxwell, no one will be held accountable for this. Garner should be jailed for the crook he has turned out to be!

Pension ombudsman is another term for c**t. And a useless c**t at that! Ahhh.. It's an equitable life. Good job it was only a few years of pension payments and not a f**king working lifes full! I feel for the chap left with the bones of a bike.... some paintwork replacement that was.

That's bad !
If it's theft how would his insurance deal with this , or am I looking at it too simply ?

Theft Dishonestly appropriating property belonging to another with the intent to permanently deprive Ticks the boxes needs to report to the police, Garner sounds like he’s been right at it all roads appear to lead back to him through shell companies etc Guarantee he will walk away with no consequences. Steal small get hammered have the audacity to go large and hoodwink government etc no consequences see all of the above named people then think Johnny towers at Rover and his cronies. I know he was investigated and Cps refused to push charges.

Apparently Garner never showed at the pension ombudsman meeting today to answer questions ....adopting the ostrich approach it seems, bury your head and hope it will all go away. Another snippet off Facebook ive read, is that apparently 9 v4ss bikes were returned for warranty work and possibly stripped of parts to build other customer bikes.

Great read sad that no one really advertised this earlier. I now hear that it was an open secret in the trade why didn’t anyone raise it? Crazy and poor sods that’ll lose their pensions.

Read that interview today ...... I know they say hindsight is a great thing, but Garner from the off was as shady as f**k, how the hell it got as far as it did, with no one going "hang on a minute " beggars belief.

It's just business.. bent deals and skulduggery abound. Nothing new about that. To bluff it out that long and have a following of excited puppys and love affair with the M/cycle media.... well the Government need to employ him somewhere.. CV is f**king perfect!

Pleaded guilty, been sent from magistrates (as they have a maximum 6 month sentence power) to crown court, however he faces a maximum 2 yr sentence. So max jail time will be 12 months, they need to do a confiscation order under proceeds of crime act, this will mean he would have to pay it back. However if everything is in his wife’s name and she wasn’t connected to the company. There will be little recourse, and no restitution.

Hoping he goes down, but not holding my breath.
Wealth confiscation order to get something back for the pensioners is my hope, but again, will it happen.

I have Just read this from John Hogan on Twitter Its just not right! Stuart Garner has been sentenced to 12 months reduced to eight months for each count he plead guilty to. Each sentence is suspended for two years. Stuart Garner is not going to jail today. John has been following this for a while with lots of information on his Twitter page twitter.com/JohnatSuperBike
