Has anyone seen this difference before to the inlet tract [1] restrictors? These are both from my stash of YPVS spares. Im wondering if one of these is a 51L version (the long one?) and the other is 29L. Any thoughts? And... before you say one is cut down, look at the ends. they both have the thin strengthening bar moulded into place at the ends. 1 - On the day of Terry Jone's death its hard not to think of 'huge tracts of land' and smile. RIP Terry!

From memory I have only seen the short ones on the YPVS airboxes I’ve had.
I’ve never had a 51L, so that sort of reinforces your thinking?

Oh cool. Thanks guys!
So I assume the 350 prefers the longer one for some reason. hmm... wonder why.
We used to take these out along with the snorkel back in the day as a 'performance mod'. But I do think they are a (anti?) resonance device and not actually a restriction, any thoughts?

Mutts tested it I'm sure and there was a gain binning them and upsetting a size I first noticed it on my n1 as it had the 51l All the lc2's had 29l I'm sure it's marked on the airbox itself which it is Feck knows what's on an f2 Steve

I'll think about the upjet and leave it out on my PWK carbed bike, the LC2 Im buidling now may as well have the 29L version in as its got OEM carbs and pipes. F2 is 51L according to the parts book.

Id forgotten about that. 29L for LC2 and 350 F1, but 51L engined F1 got the 51L type as did the F2.

I've never found different ones but I've had some that seemed to have shrunk and were a bit short

Or someone made it fit to the pwk 55mm. Boiling water and a beer bottle can do the trick.

Do able but tricky.. as the result is that the Roundy middle part becomes convex /constricting. Requiring an inner metal ring being fitted to enlarge the constriction.
