What paint are you using for the top engine case on a YPVS that's petrol resistant?

Used hycote last time after dusty's petrol douse test lol
It's gloss but I let it dry a little then just mist another light coat and it takes the high gloss down a bit

As Steve says, Hycote is brilliant. Did an Lc cylinder head in it, then managed to put a minor chip in it so I thought I would do it again. Left it completely immersed in a bowl of clean petrol, and after 10 minutes, even with a nylon brush, I couldn't even dull it ! Bloody amazing paint Dusty

If it ain't for a standard finish then I would strip the paint off to leave bare like an LC
Mine has been fine for 10 years and you don't have to worry about chipping it or getting petrol on it :-)

Hycote Enamel paint. Goes on lovely and dries to a High gloss if left, but just give it a light dusting when nearly dry. Good Paint.

Gloss. It was a hybrid build so correct finish wasnt important.
