Putting my 250lc project together,nothing is tested electrically wise just trying to get a spark,when kicking over im getting a voltage reading on the orange wire to coil,should i be getting a spark with this? not got alot connected just the engine kill switch would i need more connected to get a spark ? any ideas folks or would i be better off getting all the electrics connected up and working?thanks in advance col

You do not need the kill switch connected to get a spark.

You will need good low speed running coils on stator, wired up with CDI and coil. That should be enough to get a spark. You can unplug the ignition switch and the right hand switch gear, as they both contain engine kill connections.
