Hi which is the best satin black master cyl paint people use? After a month the hammerite I used just fell off from the b fluid.

Yes, same has happened to me, done a few in different paints and all have just wiped off, I think the only way is to powder coat them. I haven't tried enamel paint yet though.

I've done a few with vht epoxy paint in a rattle can
Comes out nice and satin
I haven't soaked it in brake fluid but if spilled and you wipe it off straight away it didn't come off.
If anything it makes it a little tacky but hardens again

Simoniz engine enamel with a cheeky 20 bake in the oven I used Simoniz Tough Black. As above it can go a little tacky if you spill fluid on it but soon hardens again. It doesn't need a primer.

The problem with mine is after a few months, the paint has all bubbled and shrivelled up, just like paint stripper. The caps are on nice and tight, rubber seals etc spotlessly cleaned, and have even tried a thin smear of grease around the lid, but still seem to react. Trouble is I can't remember which M/C I've painted by which suppliers, tried most of the above. Seems like the 'gloss' ones react more.

powdercoat works well, but you need to apply it carefully with lots of masking. Probably not going to get many pro powder coaters wanting to put all that effort in if im honest.
