Now who would pay £900 for a loom, instead of a very decent copy from the LC club for a couple of hundred instead? Madness Also I'm Pretty sure LC and 31k looms are not the same at all.

The Lc club looms are discontinued I found out last week.
And no, the 31K and LC looms are not the same.
Thats the second 31K NOS loom Ive seen advertised at that price actually. NOS always has a different value to anything else as we know. Were a long way from the time when these were cheap and plentiful tho.

OEB In the link as posted on this thread it says this Nigel: "Notification: We have had to suspend the sale of the looms due to unforeseen circumstances." I used the word discontinued, they say suspended. Either way you cant buy one.

Just got given a poor condition one - had the fuse box chopped out and completely bypassed :-O took about a day to strip back and reinsert using the wiring diagram - had to use some new boxes n connections - but most no matter how bad can be recovered for use :-)

I tacked faults and repaired a 4L0 one to ‘save money’ ....3 days later ....a working bike but so wished I’d just shelled out for a plug and play ! you just get sucked in...

yup it defo is a case of strip it all back, check it all, if anything looks so so sort it rather than leave- have the right tools ( a good soldering iron and proper crimping pliers) n read that schematic until you see it in your sleep lol ps always on the lookout for old looms that maybe well dead as I can reuse the blocks as many I see have been "chopped off n bulleted" - gotta love a challenge
