Try a new plug first or swap the plugs from one cylinder to the other and see if it still misfires on the same one

So far I've changed plugs / caps coils , stripped LH carb checked jets, floats etc all good but it's still cold on left cylinder with a small amount of white smoke from exhaust ?

What about the coolant, have you noticed a drop in the level for example?
Pure guess, wondering if water is getting into the left cylinder??

Id be doing a compression check to rule out cylinder damage
Also check all the reed petals are still in place

Have you tried the left plug cap on the right and right on the left?
Next check would be a leak down test

hello, its almost certainly carb related. i would take the left carb off, thoroughly clean with carb cleaner aerosol, then, and this is the important bit, use compressed air line or air duster to finish blasting out the passages, especially the air screw/idle air passageway. this was the difference between running on one cylinder and running on 2 on my RD350 YPVS. just using carb cleaner, there will be residual fluid in the air passage that will not be cleared via engine suction alone, it MUST be blasted through with compressed air. hope this helps.

Have you rested the spark plug on the cylinder head and kicked the bike over to see if you have a spark?
