RD250LC on Westside

Westside is a New Zealand TV series that is the prequel to Outrageous Fortune. Both ‘ickselent’ shows and well worth watch IMHO, its shame the UK didn’t get these really as they had good storylines and superb characters.

Anyway the latest series (S5) of Westside is set in 1987 and Wolf’s main transport is a Marsbar RD250LC.





I grabbed some small clips of Wolf riding the bike (as its not just used as a static prop )where you can actually hear they use the real exhaust noise as well. But... I cant seem to get the video to play from my site, anyone have an idea of how to make it work?

Of course all copyright is to the makers of Westside, Im just very happy they used one of ‘our bikes’, Thanks for all the screen time guys!

Westside is back on TV for a final series, tho Ive not watched the eps yet I expect its moved on a few years so the RDLC will be gone. It was great last year seeing one used in a TV show.

Not sure if this would ever be shown in the UK, its a very Kiwi thing for sure. To really understand it you have to watch all the seasons of Outrageous Fortune before this prequel. But if you just want to see an LC on TV then seek out the eps of Series 5 of Westside, they are on various sites and its a good show.
