Hi all, I'm new to the forum and just got my first Elsie. Will have lots of questions.

Welcome  I'm guessing that you maybe 'middle aged' like most of us on here, how come you not had an Elsie before? Why did you buy one for the first time now?? |

semt a good idea at the time, Not sure now with all the work that needs to be done to it. Still something to pass away the time on.

Welcome Normski, although not sure why this thread is in the Air Cooled RD section?
Like you I never had an LC back in the day, as I had moved onto cars by the time they came out, although I did still have a 250C as backup transport at that time.
They are great bikes to ride, as you will find out when you get yours back on the road.
