The good news is my china elcheapo produces good pics. LH cyl RH cyl What happened is my RH plug cap didnt clamp properly. So i came home on one cyl. Just before the weather changed to thunder and hail storm. I made at least 15miles on one cyl. Which was the LH cyl. So the bad news is after doing 3500km i need a piston again. 😫😤

Not looking too good in there, Looks like the the other cylinder has a lot of pickup or scoring on the bore wall as well...

I'd say that's nothing to do with running home on one cylinder
You may get a little bore wash on the dead cylinder but nothing like that

Is that the exhaust port side?
If so, how big are the stingers on your pipes?
I did a pair of pistons like that, when I had Jap expansions on, turned out they were for a 250 & had really small diameter stingers, put bigger pipes on & all sorted.

May be that gives the scoring on the bore. LH had been running hot at exhaust outlet while running on one cyl. But why? Is it because it has to work harder? It needed more throttle at same rpm. The weather was extreem hot 31C. Needle of temp gauge stil in green but close to red while running on 2 cyl.
