Investigating possible rich mixture. ?
Is this the normal setup on an R1Z the small left jet can be removed.
The large screw head is a blanking plug with a fixed jet.
I removed the slides & the small jets, with WD40 you can blow fluid through the jet channels.
Also the same with the air inlet to the fixed jet.
All appear clear.
Standard jets & needles, needle set at position 4.
Air cleaner clean foam. BR8 plugs.
Carbs not flooding.
Seems strange no need for choke to start.
Starts 1st kick.
Does need to be hot, 1/3rd of temp gauge before will run through 6000.
Once clear runs well, pulls hard, well in excess of .....
Not sure what oil but seems quite tacky to the feel.
