Hi guys, looking for some info on power valve wiring. I have a zeel pcdi 10vt and have wired to the diagram given by zeel, the valves do their clean cycle but when the bikes ticking over it doesn't return to the closed position, on closer inspection it appears that the servo motor is turning the opposite way that it should and when I swap the cables round it pulls the right way, I am also using an electrex world generator that has been wired exactly to the diagram given. any help would be greatly appreciated as I am turning bald very quickly

Where are you located, as there maybe someone local who can give you a hand?

Ok so got a little further, after a bit of digging I found an old post saying the zeel box starts on the closed position and now that side of things is working after setting the max and minimum opening of the valves however they still don't open when the bike revs, any ideas? Cheers

# possibles here: 1) you've got it incorrectly wired 2) The Cables are incorrectly installed 3) the zeel unit is broken Email Zeel for help.

I was getting confused as didn't realise that the position for power valves with the zeel starts at closed, the cables are on correctly and it is wired to the servo to the letter, also the valves do their clean cycle on power up so can't be sure if it is the zeel box at fault, have emailed zeel but no reply yet

That will probably be it then, did you have any problems like this with your zeel?

If the hand held does not show the RPM, then the chances are that the servo controller is not receiving the signal from the pulse coil either. On the other hand, the engine runs, so the pulse coil must be working. If the servo controller does not know the RPM, then it will not open the valve. That connection from the generator to the Zeel is the one you need to concentrate on.
