well its taken me over a year and seriously tested my bank account and the wifes patience but I finally finished my uk matching numbers lc2 its not the original colours but I preferred the later ones as it reminded me of my 350f and the pipes and front mudguard are later ones. barrels and carbs are 1ua but I think it looks good. theres nos everywhere on the bike including c**kpit. one regret is not getting the frame redone but ill do that over the winter. feel free to highlight any mistakes you might notice

I love Lc2's, and that is a lovely example It's the same paint scheme I had on my F1, and it really suits it Dusty

Bike looks mint mate and I love the f1 scheme too π thatβs why Iβve got one that I restored π
Seeing as you asked though and this ainβt criticism in anyway the rear swinger and front forks are later type too, but you probably know that and the rear disc is the wrong side
Lovely bike though that Iβd happily own π nice job π

Very nice sir
My original 83 was in those later colours too
I'm still tempted to do another in that scheme π€

The slots in the disc are going the wrong way
The rear and the front right are the same
Looks like yours has a front left fitted on the rear

Not being critical so no offence meant but the loom is also routed wrong
It shouldn't go up the side of the headstock
It runs along the right side of the bike, attaches to the metal clamp on the lower rail at the infill panel then goes out between the frame and the radiator before looping up into the headlight bowl
Bike still looks great π

The needle stop is rubber and becomes sticky with age so the needle sticks to it Take the top cover off and carefully wipe the stop after unsticking the needle Usually sorts it Steve
