www.buzzwangle.com/#I just bought this do the timing on my Lambretta however the adaptor will fit a Yamaha flywheel too. A bit pricey but an excellent bit of kit.

Defo a variant of the same gauge, the clever bit is the tool they made that fits 4 threads and provides the platform for the gauge to sit on. Im sure you could make one of those pretty easily tho, bit of tube threaded up (M27x1 I think?) and then weld a bit of flat bar to it for the gauge. Then just spin it up hand tight and set it to zero at TDC etc.
