Put my bike on ebay Thursday evening .. pics show the bike obviously and in the background the long driveway that leads to our house, a couple of Portacabins our a***hole neighbour has on his part of the land, then the main road. I have put in the ebay listing that the location is between Leeds and Wakefield, close to M1 and M62 motorways. Couple of hours ago I hear a bike so I look at the CCTV screen. He comes down the long driveway to our gate, has a quick look, does a U turn then back up to the road and off in the direction he came from. If he wanted to just turn round there is plenty of room to do it up near the road. Is this just paranioa or do people genuinely scan ebay looking for bikes to nick?

I'm just waiting for my boss to get home to see if I can get permission to do just that. We have twelve CCTV cameras, brick outbuilding, alarmed .. but it still doesn't seem enough.

Yes be prepared, very prepared.
I'm sh1tting my pants right now as the LC hybrid is finished and waiting collection by the guy who has been paying the parts bill.
Hence why I want him to pick it up despite the tank having to go back to the painter.
I have borrowed a tank to stick on it temporarily
I lost nearly £3k when the donor got nicked, I don't want to risk another £12k
Lock the gates and park something big in front of the door.
I'd be spending the next week with a crate of red bull in front of the cctv screen.

I have my bike chained to a 20ltr Jerry can full of fuel. If anyone wants to try and cut the chain with a grinder good luck.

Chained one end of the bike to a ground anchor I bought from OEB, other end chained to a scooter, parked the van tight up to the garage door, shut the farm gate and put a car up against it, outside lights are on a photocell and stay on dusk to dawn, stayed up until 1.30am, now reviewing CCTV just to see .. we've got a yappy dog too. Seven more nights so fingers crossed We have always thrown food out to encourage wildlife and it amazes me how many hedgehogs and foxes pass through each night. About a dozen of each last night, and if foxes are sat in the garden eating there is nobody mooching about otherwise they'd be off.

On the flip side and just to add a bit of balance... End of last summer, I pulled onto the drive and headed in desperate for a wee. Got distracted by chatting to a friend and then ate dinner and nodded off on the sofa..
Had left the RC30 parked outside the garage, with the keys in the ignition..
Didn't realise until the next morning.. Was quite relieved....
