I only ask as some Shambits parts get a bad reputation on here. One member had a sidestand snap after 10 minutes of the bike being leant on it, and crank seals have failed with less than 1000 miles on them. Most of the bits you've bought shouldn't be of concern, but better you know in advance.
The new swingarm bearings were a great fit vastly superior the yambits crap. it actually came with radial bearings to fit on the end of the swingarm so take any side load too, which I like the ideal of.
sadly I dont know how but I stripped the threads on stainless pivot bolt
so i'm gonna have to order another.
Work has now moved to cleaning up the alloy on the wheels they look better in the pix than in reality
I agree with you about modern paintsripper mate!, bought some a while back, which wouldn’t touch the brush paint on my brake bar. Luckily I found some nitromors (probably 1990’s vintage), in the back of the shed which did the trick!. Your wheels are looking great, good luck with the rest of the project 👍🏻.
