jst got my 125 lc running today with the bigbore (dt175 piston all machined propperly) and it ran ok at first then it would struggle to hould revs under 5k rpm and just dies this was the reason i got the barrel rebored, i thought the old piston was knakerd but now it turns out this isnt the case.
So far i have checked new plug new ht coil resistance on coils are within tollerance
The olnly thing i can find is the fly wheel will rock backwards and forewards on the crankshaft when i loosen it the woodruff key looks to be too narrow and doesnt fit snuggly in the crankshaft.
has anyone had any similar issues ??

Have you upped your main jet size.....to match the increase in cc ? Its surprising how many people do forget But you will definately need to sort out the ill-fitting woodruff key good luck

Yer jetting is fine and carb is clean when i had a stock 12a carb i used a 240 main,so yours should be similar, mine never coughed or spluttered but the small carb certainly restricted the power from the 175cc top end, mine ran spot on from 1000-8000rpm but wouldnt produce more power if reved higher,id say try another carb if you can and make sure you have got no air leaks from where you have converted to pre mix.also try 40:1 mixture if your not allready . id hunt through ebay for a single pwk28 carb mate pretty simple mod and made a world of difference to mine.infact probaly one of the best mods i did,i tryed 3 or 4 standard carbs and they all had issues that caused grief

i had the exact same problem with mine, but it kept sheering my woodruff key clean off, put a genuine key in there and all was fine,
