Hi all, i've become a member here and just realised that i never introduced myslef. How english of me!
So to all a big HELLO. Live in Leyland, Lancs. The better side of the Penines of course.
I have a 1980 250LC, currently on Sorn but should do something about that. Too many toys i'm ashamed to say. Came to work today, 60miles round trip, on my Z900 A4 (1976). Also have an XBR500, great fun bike to ride and real blast around the country lanes and currently on the road. Also got a 1980 CB900FA, sorned and waiting to get a good tidy.
Now this is where i'm going to get some stick i expect. I also have a new HD883 sporty, now dont knock it until you have a go on one. I love it, it's stage one, shortshot silencers and SE air filter and fuelpak. She goes when pushed, great low down power from the v-twin.
so thats me. Colm

Nice bikes. Looks like you are into showing your RD. Where was that photo taken? If you would like to show it again, the LC club would like to here from you

Thanks for the great comments. the LC aint stunning as such, i would say it's tidy and never been restored, suprising what the sunshine can do for a picture. Not really into showing, however the pic was taken at Haigh Steam rally and i was there helping in the motorbike section and rode to the show so was pushed into lining her up.
As for the Zed only liking straight lines, hmmm, well it's not as bad as what you may think. I went to Nottingham yesterday through Derbyshire hills and the A6 and she did the bends just fine. But i think the LC or my XBR would have run rings around it. Coming back i did the easy option of A50 and M6, 120miles in 2 hours with a break at Sandbach. So i was not hanging about at times.
