Just a quicky previously when I have fitted new ht leads I have stripped the wire down to the copper core then crimped onto that with these ht leads they have an outer then a fibre then a v thin wire do I crimp to the thin wire or does the outer fibre conduct as well? Thanks

I fitted some Taylor leads to my KR (not sure if these are the same?) I'm sure I just pulled all the stripped-back inner core, back over the outer HT lead, and crimped the whole lot with the supplied plug connector. The inner core is very very thin from memory?

Massively thin and almost impossible to double over

As LC_bott describes, that's how I fitted my leads to the crimp connectors on the LC triple. It might be less hassle to change the type of HT lead, to get a thick copper core. Easier to screw in the plug caps as well

I bought a meter of nice old school lead from ebay that was sold for brit bike restores. Worked a treat.
