No cables my friend. Speedo pickup and tachosignal from the primairy coil side. The orange wire from the cdi. I did put a 220ohm resistor in series with the orange wire. And a 1uF capacitor at the tach to earth. This a low pass filter. May be not nescesary. The gear and temp indicator i do not use.
Also this cool looking thing, 6 in 1 you can use temp gauge, volt meter, gps speedo, digital tacho, milometer, trip meter, hour meter, you may even be able to use the 2t oil switch through the fuel gauge, its all in 1 unit, very reasonable price too, considering all the usable functions.
The problem with the first one is that you'll need a seperate temp gauge.
The 6 in 1 is pretty cool. Interesting that it should work with OEM sensors. I'd be interested to try one out. All you'd need is a nice round sat nav screen for the other side and you'd have very usable modern instruments
