is there a throttle cable i can use instead of the std one because im not using the oil pump and thought since a single cable has no joints or splitters it should last a wee bit longer?? norbs have u got anything ??

cheapest and easiest way is to pull the "y splitter" apart and snip the part off for the oil pump off, clip the splitter bit back together and hey presto a cable with no oil pump cable, while its in bits id put a few drops of oil down the cable to lube it up,i converted my standard cable to run a pwk28 carb and no oil pump, bit like fitting a break cable on a push bike lol. you can buy a universal cable but you will have to trim the inner and outer cables to the correct lenth witch isnt hard but id just mod the standard one
