Hi guys i'm stripping a 4lo engine,to remove the bushes from the mounting points can i just tap them out with a drift or will i need a special tool of some sort, any help appreciated.

Hi, May I ask why you want to remove them? as I'm not sure if they are available from Yamaha anymore and you don't want to damage them!
They will be fine left in if the cases are vapor blasted and you may get away with powder coating with them still in if this is your route too?
If you really need to don't use a hammer as you will stress the cases too much, use a treaded bar and bush to press them out, you may be able to use a socket for the one side?

Thanx As others have said DO NOT attempt to remove them - you'll probably brake the casting, Vapour blasting will NOT damage rubber so thats the way to go.
