Just thought i would put the carbs from my newly purchased R1-z through the ultra sonic cleaner as were filthy and when took apart this is what was inside em!  No float or valve seat etc in one carb! They told me the bike ran lovely and revved fine  Can't find a float for one of these anywhere so does anyone know if a TZR 250 float will fit as they are available? Cheers |

You may have other bits missing.
On the TDR there are some plastic bits that fit into the holes above the main jets, in your pictures, and dip down into the fuel. I guess these should be the same.

DK Motorcycles. Think it's all there bar the float, pin and fuel valve/seat.

I bought a 350LC from a well know ebayer from Cardiff, and was told it was a runner.
When it got delivered, the engine was siezed. On closer inspection i realised it had no drain plug and obviously no oil.
Got no joy with the seller, so won't be using them again.
I was always planning to strip the engine, but that wasn't the point.

Just got off the phone from DK Motorcycles and they are sending me a spare carb. Apparently the mechanic took the original carbs and swapped them for another set but can't explain why? Seems like a weird thing to do but as long as I get the spare I will be happy!
