If you have problems with cats shitting in your garden, the best remedy is to get yourself a cat. It will keep other cats out of your garden, and go and shit in somebody else's garden.
I have 2 cats, and the tidiest garden in the street ;D

I have 2 cats, and the tidiest garden in the street ;D very true, infact i had a big fat black persian male cat he was very big fluffy and realy grumpy any way he used to poo in the neighbours gardens untill one day he was found poisened in the neighbours garden,my poor cat i was gutted he only lived to 4 or 5 years old,ive currently got a scraggly old cross bread femail cat who is still going at 19/20 years old, shes only got a few teeth, dribbles and walks with a limp but she is happy

That's a coincidence. We've recently buried our Persian. She was only ten, but, unlike yours, died of natural causes. It's sad that your cat was poisoned. People either love them or hate them, but I bet anyone who hates them has probably never had one.
We have two mongrel cats now and probably won't have another pedigree. Persians do look good but have to live with the practicalities of their man-made looks. It's a struggle. I wonder if all pedigree animals suffer this?

we had 3 cats 2 ginger ones that were kittens and a tabby thats about 6 but unfortunatly i dont think the ginger ones we had were very clever the liked playing in the road and didnt loke mooving for cars so they became roadkill just before they were 1 but the tabby is just a lazy b*****d like norbos eats, sleeps and shits, i think if some one poisened my cat they wub be buying a new set of tyres for there car, its a shame theres people out there that do things like that to animals !!

i remember when i was 6 or 7 years old and my parents had a white albino cat (not pedigree, just mongrel),it was pretty much blind and had no hearing, unfortuantly iy got run over needless to say it was going to happan at some point, ive got to admid cats are a pain in the bum.the do poo in other peoples gardens and do rip open rubish bags etc,my mother used to breed pedigree siamese cats,we kept a few over the years its strange how much they vary it temperement and how long they live,we had a brown siemese cat that very rarley left the house, very lazy and lived to 21/22 years old,we have also has a few that only lived to 4/5 years old.it does seem to be the pedigree cats always need expensive vets bills and often die young. a good friend of mine has got a pedigree bull dog, cost him £2000,always in thev vets for various issues, sooooo lazy, the poor thing can barly walk/ breath properly, this is down to the way they have been bred to acchieve a certain look, ridicouls, another coomon one is staffordshire bull terriors bred to bllok as big as possable, often see them so over veight they literly waddle down the road lol

Yeah, cats with the right owners do have a good life and why not?
Should every living thing on this planet spend its entire life struggling to survive or wondering when its going to become someone's next meal?
Its an age old debate and love hate relationship for some people, love em or hate em they are always going to seek out the best environment and free food supply for themselves.
There has been a great debate recently on the "Wild about Britain" Forum, where supposed animal-green-environmentalists have been arguing the pros and cons of cats and dogs with some members overwhelmed with hatred for cats on a wildlife forum! LOL.
Please dont start this debate on this Forum!
Its a mad mad world.
