Hi All,
I'm currently rebuilding a RD 250 E and have just started putting stuff on the frame, can anyone tell me at is it better to put the loom back on prior to the airbox and is it advisable to assemble the airbox to the frame prior to installing the engine like the LC'S?
Lastly, does anyone have a picture or diagram of the wiring loom route?
Thanks in anticipation
Paul

Hi Paul, when I rebuilt my 400G, I fitted the loom first, simply because it meant it gave me a clear run at it without anything in the way.
I don’t think there any huge issues with regard to when you install the air box, as I have removed mine and refitted it with the engine in the frame.
I think that I the loom routing is shown in my supplementary service manual, so will try to dig it out and scan it for you if you PM me your e-mail address.

Cheers Mark,
I found the loom routing on the aircooled site, I am however looking for a matching clutch basket and primary drive if you know of any
