Some pics from the Ace cafe 2 stroke day , brilliant ride out and usual smattering of misadventures there and back.. Was quieter than previous years but plenty of stuff to gawp over, old, new(er), road and dirt bikes of every cc. We had quite a little posse going, a few diesels but mainly LCs, TDRs,RGVs and Mike(kopite) on his TDR250.
Couple of lads from this very forum I spoke with, sorry gents, ive forgot your names now..!
One of our number noticed he had a problem with his bike when filling it up, pushed it off the pump to fix it and after sorting it out, forgot to pay for his fuel and rode 30mins down the road before realising..old age eh:D
Trip was round 140 miles in total, on the way there we did around 12 or so miles of the M1 , the bikes got a good thrashing on the way home but everyone got there and back OK, big grins around.

What went wrong with the bike(s) then? Trust you to focus on the negative aspect! A bolt came loose from the reed inlet stub, swiped another from the crankcase cover and that was that...
