Hi all
My build a bike from a box of bits continues
My next problem is to make a pair of carbs from the selection of carbs I have
I have a few 4L0 00 carbs some with the small right hand side hole plugged and some with what looks like a small jet (when looking from the intake) - which is correct for the 250?
Also i have a selection of different jets etc - which are the best sizes to use
Needle size, clip etc
I have no idea of the barrels age - unless someone can help identify them? Is there a difference?
Any help much appreciated
Cheers Steve

I had a set of 250 carbs which worked just the same as the other type of Mikuni's it just took some playing around with different jets and needles In fact I run into a bit of a problem with the jetting of one engine and these carbs worked out better than the 31K carbs I have

I’d just find some correct 4L1 carbs..as Dllc said, those are what you should have for the 250. The 4L0 ones sound like mixture of original and modified ones. They would sell very easily.
