He reckons its not for the faint hearted - especially when you hit the brakes!! Drums front and rear. They would have struggled to stop it with the original engine, never mind a powervalve.

thats what i said to the bloke but he has allways riden them so its nothing new to him just a hell of a lot faster .

You could buy these converted lambrettas from a bloke called alan rosser back in the early nineties, I used to do the whole scooter scene thing still have a 1969 gp200, I attended great yarmouth scooter rally in 1992 and saw one of these in action on the sea front, it sounded just like a 350 lc should and it certainly shifted lol. just found this site this is one of his creations been restored. www.lambrettainnovation.co.uk/view_page.php?pid=52
